🛂 Travel & Visa
Do I need a visa to travel to China?
No. Good news is that citizens from U.S and other 53 countries are exempted from Visa to enter China for no more than 10 days (240 hrs), and citizens from 38 countries can stay in China for 30 days! Check if your country is on the 10 days or 30 days Visa Exemption list here.
Do I need a visa to travel to Tibet?
Yes. You’ll need a Tibet Travel Permit. But don’t worry, we’ll apply the Tibet Travel Permit for you after registration.How do I get a Tibet Travel Permit?
We handle the permit process entirely—just provide us with your passport copy once you register. And the permit will be mailed to wherever you stay after landing China!
🏔️ Altitude & Health
How high is the altitude in Lhasa?
Lhasa is around 3,650 meters (12,000 feet). Most people adjust within 1–2 days. We’ll provide detailed guidance for altitude adjustment.What if I have altitude sickness or health concerns?
We carefully monitor everyone's well-being. Emergency oxygen is available, and hospitals are nearby. Let us know in advance if you have health conditions.

What should I pack?
Comfortable layers, warm clothes for cool evenings, sunglasses, sunscreen, sturdy shoes for walking, camera, journal, personal medications, and travel documents. We'll send you a detailed packing list.

Where will we stay?
Comfortable, authentic Tibetan guesthouses and hotels. Rooms are clean, comfortable, and culturally immersive. Expect double-bed sharing rooms.Can you accommodate special diets?
Yes! Please indicate dietary restrictions or allergies when you register, and we’ll ensure you have delicious and suitable meals.

Do I need horseback riding experience?
No prior experience is necessary. Horses are gentle, local guides supervise closely, and participation is optional.Are there alternatives if I don’t want to ride horses or hike extensively?
Absolutely! We offer alternative experiences like Tibetan weaving, cooking, or gentle village walks. Just let us know your preference.
📸 Photography & Filming
Will there really be a professional photographer/videographer?
Yes! A local Tibetan photographer/videographer will document your experience professionally. You'll receive a beautiful digital photo & short-film package after the journey.Can I opt-out of photography or filming?
Yes, your comfort matters to us. You can participate fully without being on camera; please inform us in advance of your preferences.
💵 Payment & Cancellation
How can I pay for my spot?
We accept PayPal, bank transfer, and credit cards via secure online payment. Details provided upon registration.What’s your cancellation policy?
Full refund (minus $600 deposit) before May 27, 2025.50% refund before June 15, 2025, no refunds after June 15, 2025.
