Now Hiring: Filmmaker & Photographer for Tibet Voice Summer Program

Tibet Voice is seeking a visual storyteller to join us in capturing one of the most meaningful journeys of the year: a 6-day immersive cultural program in the heart of Tibet.

We’re not just documenting a trip.
We’re telling a story — one of connection, reflection, and cross-cultural discovery.
And we need your eye, your intuition, and your creative soul to help bring it to life.

Lhasa, Tibet + surrounding villages

🗓 Dates

July 25–30, 2025
(Arrival in Lhasa on July 24 recommended)

🎞 Who We’re Looking For

• A filmmaker and/or photographer with a strong visual storytelling voice

• Someone experienced with documentary-style, natural light, candid storytelling

• Comfortable working in remote, high-altitude environments (Lhasa ~3,650m)

• Emotionally attuned — able to capture moments of presence, culture, and connection

• Open to cultural sensitivity and flexible schedules

🎒 What You’ll Do

• Document the full program (journey, people, landscapes, interactions)

• Capture both candid emotion and structured portraits/interviews

• Produce:

  • A 5 minute highlight video (with music, no voiceover needed)

  • high-quality photos for our archive, participants, and social media

• Collaborate with a small, warm-hearted team and a group of international participants

💼 What We Provide

• All expenses in Tibet covered (transportation, lodging, meals in Tibet)

• Cultural orientation + Tibetan guide support

• A meaningful, once-in-a-lifetime experience you’ll never forget

• Honorarium: negotiable depending on experience + deliverables
