Program Schedule

Day 1

Arrival & Orientation

  • Arrival in Shangri-La, check-in at Soul Valley

  • Welcome ceremony and group icebreakers

  • High-altitude adaptation tips

Day 2

Tibetan Buddhist Foundations

  • Visit to a Tibetan monastery, experience a prayer wheel ceremony

  • Lecture on core Tibetan Buddhist philosophy

  • Guided evening meditation session

Day 3

Art & Devotion

  • Introduction to Thangka painting and its significance

  • Thangka painting workshop: Explore what is inside our subconscious through art

  • Evening cultural salon, share reflections

Day 4

Meditation & Compassion

  • Morning meditation practice

  • Lecture on Emptiness (Shunyata) and Compassion

  • Tibetan incense-making workshop: Create and express how your incense represents you personally

  • Candlelight prayer meditation in the evening

  • Spiritual writing practice for self-reflection

Day 5

Pilgrimage Day

  • Trek to Meri Mountain (Meri Peak), embrace the sacred landscape

  • Walking meditation in the serene mountain environment

  • Afternoon tea and group discussions on pilgrimage and its personal meaning

  • Evening reflection circle

Day 6

Local Immersion

  • Tibetan cuisine cooking class and shared Tibetan family-style meal

  • Weaving experience and traditional Tibetan dance and music exchange

  • Bonfire Party in the evening

Day 7

  • Reflection & Closing

  • Try on traditional Tibetan clothing for a photo session (final day activity)

  • Group presentation of photos, videos, speeches, and written reflections

  • Awarding of completion certificates

  • Blessing ceremony with a Lama

Day 8

Departure

  • Farewell to Shangri-La

  • Optional departure with arranged transfer services
